This "gem" is one of many mid-rise condos that have cropped up in the Brighton Beach section of Brooklyn during the 2000s and 2010s. The area north of the elevated tracks on Brighton Beach Avenue used to consist of mostly bungalows and two story houses. Now developments like this are increasingly becoming more common. Most of them are just as ugly as this one. Not only is it a cheap looking stucco building, but it looks like there has been a pathetic attempt at neoclassicism.
